WHY PILATES SOCIAL
At Pilates Social we have created a community that is welcoming, fun and a space that everyone can feel a part of.
Our class styles are invigorating, a mix of classical and dynamic Pilates with a focus to make you feel the burn, work hard, and laugh even harder! After each class you will leave feeling energised and revigorated for the mind and body.
If you are new to pilates we like to introduce you to the practice via our free orientation class. This class is run on Wednesday nights at 7pm and gives you an introduction into what a typical pilates beginner class may look like. This class is open and welcome to everyone either new to the reformer practice or just new to our studio.
If you are keen to get started right away purchase our 2 Week Unlimited Pass for only $55! However, if you prefer to have a slower intro to reformer pilates, you are pre or post-natal, or have any previous injuries you may want to book our 3 private session offer and we will call you to organise your sessions with one of our highly trained instructors.
Note: all of our intro packs have a two week expiry.
I`M INJURED CAN I DO PILATES?
The pilates method is one of the best practices to start if you are injured, however it is important to start with the right style of pilates.
If you are injured please get in touch prior to your first lesson. We need to discuss your current injury to develop a plan specialised to you. We need to assess whether group classes will be acceptable or if a private program is required.
I AM UNFIT CAN I DO PILATES?
There is no better time to start pilates! Our beginner classes are a great place to start if you need to guide yourself into practice, these classes focus on technique and don`t include high intensity cardio. Once you master our BEGIN classes it`s time to move to our BURN classes to raise that heart rate!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME?
We see the best results from 3 classes per week with a rest in between each class. As reformer pilates is a resistance training method the body requires rest in between each class.
`Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind & spirit` (Jospeh Pilates). This practice takes time, a commitment is required.
CLINICAL PILATES (1:4)
Our Clinical Pilates classes are run by our accredited Women's Health Physio. Classes are capped at 4 people with each session tailored to you. For those clients that are post-natal, seeking injury management or just want a more hands on approach.
Before attending you will need to complete a pre-screening questionnaire. This questionnaire gives Claire all the information she needs to attend to your needs. Please contact Stacey on 0417 605 116 to discuss Clinical Classes.
All classes can be claimed for Private Health Rebate.
WHEN Are THE CLASSeS?
Claire takes two Clinical classes per week on Wednesday, 3:15pm and 4pm.

These sessions can be claimed on Private Health Rebate and Government Support Programs.
We have over 40 group classes per week. With a maximum of nine people per class our group classes are a small and intimate setting giving your instructor time to give you one on one attention. We love to give hands on corrections to ensure your form is on point. Be prepared to work hard, sweat and laugh. Our group classes are a lot of fun!
Foundation is suitable for all levels of fitness; this is our level 1 introductory class. Designed with a focus on fine tuning technique, this is great place to learn the Pilates principles. Great for newbies as the class is slower and the exercises are kept simple, however you'll still work hard and feel the deep Pilates burn!
Recommended for beginners, those with injuries or pre-natal clients.
Reformer is our open level Pilates class suitable for both beginners and intermediate clients. Your instructors are highly skilled at layering your class which will challenge everyone. Prepare to sweat and to push yourself and challenge your ability - you are stronger than you know!
Recommended for everyone that has been to a class before and is looking to advance to the next level.
Join our Mobility Stretch to achieve more length and depth within the body.
Challenge yourself with middle splits, backbends, headstands and more, it's a tougher class that will push your body to its limits and leave you feeling elongated and strong.
MINI + ME
Join us for your weekly Pilates "Mother's Group" designed just for you and your bub. It's a chance for you to meet other mum's, have a laugh, and nourish your body post-baby to get it feeling strong again! All of our instructors are trained in pre and post natal so you'll feel confident in their ability to safely guide you through each exercise. Feel those endorphins rise in a safe and welcoming environment that will become your little mumma sanctuary each week!
Bubs welcome at any age, however up until crawling age is best.
