Why Reformer Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that strengthens the body, improves movement and supports overall wellbeing. Here are just a few of the many benefits:
Core Strength
Build a stronger, more stable core to support everyday movement.
Better Balance
Improve balance, coordination and body awareness.
Increased Flexibility
Enhance mobility and move with greater ease.
Improved Posture
Strengthen postural muscles and encourage better alignment.
Functional Strength
Develop full-body strength that supports everyday life.
I'm new to Pilates. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Pilates Social is beginner-friendly, and our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. With small classes of just nine reformers, you'll receive personalised support to help you feel confident from your very first class.
If you're returning to exercise after an injury or are currently managing one, we recommend giving us a call before getting started. Our 1:1 Private Appointments provide personalised guidance and can be the ideal way to build confidence before joining our group classes.
Which class should I book first?
If you're new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with one of our Foundation classes. However, all of our classes are suitable for all levels. Our experienced instructors are skilled at teaching beginners and more experienced clients together, providing individual guidance and exercise modifications so everyone can work at a level that's right for them.
What do I need to bring?
Simply bring a water bottle, a towel and grip socks. If you don't have grip socks yet, they're available to purchase at the studio. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early for your first class so we can introduce you to the reformer and answer any questions.
Our Belong Pass is the perfect introduction to Pilates Social.
Enjoy four classes over two weeks, giving you the opportunity to experience our studio, meet our instructors and try a variety of classes before committing to a membership.
It's the ideal way to build confidence, find your favourite classes and discover why so many people love being part of our community.
